Pasco Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested a man Friday wanted in Tennessee for child abduction. Deputies recieved information from Tennessee authorities that Anthony Banks, 26, could be in the Hudson area with his 5-year-old son.

Pasco detectives spotted the suspect’s vehicle in Hudson and followed him. During that surveillance, a child matching the description of the missing juvenile, was seen being dropped off at a Hudson residence.

The suspected then drove to a nearby convenience store where he was arrested. The child was safely recovered and will be reunited with family members. Banks is being held in the Land O’ Lakes Detention Center without bond.
