Pasco school bus driver arrested
Pasco Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Pasco school bus driver yesterday for his attempts to get one of his students that rode his bus to send him nude photos.
Paul John King, DOB 12-26-64, 7537 Jenner Avenue, New Port Richey, was arrested on one count of use of a computer to seduce, solicit, or lure a child and one count of transmitting info harmful to a minor.
King allegedly attempted to get the 16-year-old female to send him nude photos of herself. He also allegedly sent her graphic sexual texts. These incidents occurred between Oct. 13 and Nov. 5.
Deputies are asking if any other students were solicited by King to contact the Sheriff’s Office. King was booked into the Pasco County Detention Center on two $5,000 bonds ($10,000 total).
The victim reported the incidents to her school resource officer (a Pasco County deputy) at the Anclote High School.
