Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a man for vandalizing nearly two dozen grave sites at a Holiday cemetery. Michael Anthony Slagle, 21 of 1046 Hickory Lane, is charged with disfiguring a tomb or monument, which also is a violation of his felony probation from Pinellas County in which he was found guilty of child abuse.
During an investigation into the vandalizing of 20 grave sites inside Anclote Cemetery, it was determined Slagle was the suspect. Slagle, on December 13, entered the cemetery and spray painted the tombstones with red paint using gang symbols and words. He was arrested late Tuesday night at his home without incident. He remains in the Land O’ Lakes Detention Center with no bond.
